Snapped this right after packing up "TEA FOR THREE"...what a sense of history infuses the Clayton Opera House.
Setting up for "TEA FOR THREE" at Smith College in May. A great pleasure to bring it back to the campus. Smithies are the best audience!
In April, took "TEA FOR THREE: Lady Bird, Pat & Betty" to Carlisle Barracks in PA and then on to the Goodwill Theatre in Johnson City, NY -- racked up lots of miles on Routes 80 and 81 --those mesmerizingly long ribbon roads!
TEA FOR THREE: LADY BIRD, PAT & BETTY is coming to the Carlisle Barracks in Carlisle, PA. at 7:30 on Friday, March 29, and the Goodwill Theatre in Johnson City, N.Y. at 2 PM on Sunday, Mar. 31. Come join us!
Now that TEA FOR THREE: LADY BIRD, PAT & BETTY is published, companies around the country are producing it with three actresses. The Center Players of Madison, Mississippi just won best production with the show at the Mississippi Theatre Association Conference and are going on with it to SETC in Knoxville on February 28. Best of luck, Wendie Sheppard, Kathryn Dawson and Betty Jo Mahaffey -- here's to the First Ladies sorority!
Further adventures with TEA FOR THREE: LADY BIRD, PAT & BETTY -- took the show to Ridgecrest, CA --just off the Mojave Desert. A landscape dramatic in its stark beauty.
Just returned from taking my solo show, TEA FOR THREE: LADY BIRD, PAT & BETTY, to Fredericksburg, Texas. Also led 18 hours of guest artist workshops at TCU in Forth Worth, the Bath House Cultural Center in Dallas, and UT Austin. Saw a lot of longhorns and fierce Texan pride. Had a blast with these generous people who live life writ large.
