January has been a rolicking month working with young actors around the country: after NJ Thespians, I dove into leading workshops (monologue intensives, acting for singers, cold reading and hidden impulses, a writing workshop) with PA Thespians, MO Thespians and TN Thespians. The students' openheartedness was striking -- reaffirming that collaboration, not competition, is the key to artistic growth.
Wrapping up the month teaching On-Camera Acting in a three-day residency at Bucknell University.

The newly formed Teaching Artist Alliance has gathered a group of teaching artists with a variety of offerings and years of experience.  Delighted to join them.
