Led a delightful zoom workshop for Whittier College on "Performing Non-Fiction."  The students were in the midst of researching, writing, and performing their own short pieces on public figures, so they were full of questions about the process. Kudos to their creative professor, Jennifer Sage Holmes, for assigning the adventure!

After performances in NY and NJ, TEA FOR THREE: Lady Bird, Pat & Betty will head to Florida: the Delray Beach Playhouse on Mar. 14 and the Mizner Park Cultural Center in Boca Raton on Mar. 15.  Palm trees ahead...                                                                                         (pic by Andrea Reese)

January has been a rolicking month working with young actors around the country: after NJ Thespians, I dove into leading workshops (monologue intensives, acting for singers, cold reading and hidden impulses, a writing workshop) with PA Thespians, MO Thespians and TN Thespians. The students' openheartedness was striking -- reaffirming that collaboration, not competition, is the key to artistic growth.

Leading a "Mining the Hidden Impulses" writing workshop at the EdTA National Conference in NYC in September -- the group's brainstorming was fantastic, forging ever-new ways to fit the workshop to the various needs of a classroom. Ideas were bouncing off the walls!
