Returning to Nebraska for the 10th year to work with a new wave of high school theater lovers from all over the country. "Acting for the Camera" workshop.
Wrapped an all-night shoot of an Ikea commercial just before I had to board a 6:30 AM flight to Nebraska to teach at the International Thespian Festival. Directed to act tired. I can do that!
In July, led monologue intensive sessions at the Eugene O'Neill Center in CT. Every time I hear the fog horn on the water there, I feel O'Neill's ghosts.
Setting up for "TEA FOR THREE" at Smith College in May. A great pleasure to bring it back to the campus. Smithies are the best audience!
Patrick Wang's brilliant two-part film continues to screen around the globe -- recently in Paris. I had a ball with Elizabeth Henry-Macari.
Dallas area artists in two workshops at the Bath House Cultural Center were a group of rich personalities. A delight to explore with.
Took my "Acting on Camera" and "Making Your Monologue HOT!" workshops to DeSoto High School in Texas. That group is RED HOT!
In April, took "TEA FOR THREE: Lady Bird, Pat & Betty" to Carlisle Barracks in PA and then on to the Goodwill Theatre in Johnson City, NY -- racked up lots of miles on Routes 80 and 81 --those mesmerizingly long ribbon roads!
Just got back from leading workshops in Tampa, at the Florida Thespians Festival -- nearly 10,000 fiercely talented (and just plain fierce!) high schoolers. What a joy they were.
